Do you ever find yourself looking for a good TV show? I know I have raved and ranted about so, so many on this blog in the past, so I thought that I would give my personal recommendations for ones to check out if you ever find yourself searching. Don't worry, I'll be brief.
Chuck:
A spy show, but a sort of quirky take on one. It centers around a guy who works in the "Nerd Herd" at an electronics store, the Buy More (a take on Best Buy). One day. he receives an email from an old college roommate and suddenly downloads all sorts of top secret information into his brain. He literally becomes a walking computer filled with government secrets. The CIA and the NSA send agents to protect him and also use him as an asset on missions since he is able to identify and access key information. This show is awesome on so many levels. It's funny, it's intense, it's quirky, it's action-packed. What's really great about it is the characters. From major to minor, there are some well written, lovable, enjoyable characters. They are the main selling point, really (not that the other stuff isn't great though). The actors are so on point! And of course the fact that I have a huge crush on Zachary Levi doesn't make me biased at all ;P So if you enjoy fun characters, engaging story lines, action, and humor, this is one to check out.
All the seasons are on Netflix instant view.
Doctor Who:
This one has recently become very popular. It used to only be popular in the UK with a cult following in the US. But now it's pretty huge and well-known. I was in on it before it was popular. *puts on rimmed glasses* I liked Doctor Who before it was cool. Anyways, in short, it's about this 900+ year-old alien (who looks human) who travels around time and space in his time machine/spaceship saving planets, fighting aliens, exploring history, and having all sorts of adventures. The unique thing about this show is that the lead actor changes every few seasons. Remember I mentioned him being an alien? Yeah. You see, when he dies or is dying, he sort of regenerates and changes his entire body in order to save himself. So, the show has changed a lot over the years. Yet, it still has all the same charm it always has. If you enjoy wit, quirky characters, (and depending on which season you're watching) complex plots, and all around great fun and excitement, this is the show for you.
The show has been running for 50+ years! I'd recommend starting with the 2005 reboot series which can be found on Netflix instant streaming.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
I totally forgot about this until recently. It's just a short vlog-series. It follows an aspiring supervillain as he tries to prove himself while he struggles with his inventions, always being one-uped by his arch-nemeses, Captain Hammer, and facing his crush at the laundromat. It's told partially in vlog form, but there's also "in between" scenes, such as the laundromat scenes and such. It's a pretty cute and funny tale, and musicals are always fun (yes, it is a musical). Neil Patrick Harris is such a joy! Although, I should warn you if you're planning on watching it, be prepared for all the feels! If you're looking for something quick and fun to watch, this is for you.
It is a three or four piece vlog series that can be found on the Dr. Horrible website or on YouTube, but I'm sure someone has put together a compilation. The complete series is about 45 minutes long.
Emma Approved:
A vlog-style adaption of Jane Austen's novel, Emma. It follows the story pretty closely, only updating it into modern times: Emma is a life coach and matchmaker who owns her own business with her partner, Alex Knightley. She begins taking in new clients, bigger and more important ones such as Senator Elton, and takes a particular interest in improving her shy new assistant, Harriet Smith. This is a super charming and cute take on the classic story. It is super well done too. It is well acted, well written, well paced… My one criticism is that it seems a little too polished. I mean, aren't blogs sometimes a little sloppy? But I guess that's Emma though; a perfectionist. So, I'll let it pass. It is still super enjoyable and fun to watch.
You can find all the episodes on YouTube, each about 5 minutes long.
Friends:
Everybody knows this show! Or at least has heard of it. I mean, you literally would have to have lived under a rock your entire life to have never heard a reference to Friends at some point. So, I really don't have to say much. It's about six friends who live in New York and all the crazy situations they get into with dating, work, and such. There's really not much to say except for the given that it is hilarious! Seriously, it has some of the best lines, comedic situations, and quirky characters ever put on screen. And the actors's performances are all spot on! They each deliver all their lines so perfectly whether a funny scene or a serious scene. A very well done show, I must say. Is it over-sold and over-exaggerated? Probably. But I still enjoy it. So, if you're looking for a good laugh and/or an enjoyable sitcom, this is the one for you.
You can find all the episodes on Netflix instant view
Gotham:
I got into this one fairly recently. It's one of those superhero backstory shows. See, while Marvel is dominating the movie matrix, DC is top notch in the TV show department. Gotham takes place (as you can probably tell from the title) in the Batman universe. However, it does not really follow Bruce Wayne as the main character. The focus is on James Gordon as he fights crime in a very corrupted city full of bizarre baddies. We see the origins of all sorts of Batman villains, places, icons, characters, etc. setting the stage for the day that Batman will emerge. As a lover of comic books as well as villains, I am so enthralled by this show. It has a very dark, gothic, gangster tone to it. They do not hold back on anything. It's not like Marvel where it's happy-go-lucky, save the world, yay! There are some dark tones and bad stuff happens. The character development is extraordinarily well done. Several of the future Batman villains are set up differently and not all of them start out as power-hungry psychopaths or even bad/evil. However, all of them have their own individualized believable arks that lead them down the right path to the villain they are in the comics. The Penguin, the Riddler, and the Joker have been my favorite so far. Even though they stray from a lot of the canon origins in the comics, this show is still enjoyable and entertaining. A criticism I have is that it tends to sometimes throw in random/pointless stuff only for the sake of adding extra drama instead of furthering the plot. So, if you like comic books (and especially Batman), enjoy a darker, more adult show, and love some solid character development and story-telling, this is a show to check out.
All available seasons are on Netflix.
How I Met Your Mother:
Another sitcom phenomenon! It's about a guy, Ted, as he tells his kids the story of all the events that led up to him meeting their mother. This includes several side stories involving him and his four friends as they go through life dealing with work, dating, and so on. I have all the same comments with this one as with Friends. It's funny, it's got great lines and hilarious situations, and the characters are fabulous. The writers come up with some very original stuff (like the telepathic talking for example. Ha!). Not to mention random musical numbers (who doesn't love those?). And just the way they portray everyday life in this exaggerated way... yet that's how we all see it, right? So funny! My one criticism is that I absolutely DESPISED the ending. However, I just pretend it did not happen and manage to watch the entire show without thinking about it (I'm in complete denial). It doesn't ruin it, so I can move on. The show is enjoyable with or without it. The show is still fun and funny. If you want a good laugh and something a little lighter to watch, I highly recommend it. (EDIT: I recently rematched this and it was a bit dirtier than I remembered. Even worse than Friends if that's something to go off of. Still funny and clever, but if you're not comfortable with that, I wouldn't recommend it.)
It is also on Netflix.
Lizzie Bennet Diaries:
Another vlog-series, the one that started it all actually. This time it's adapting Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Lizzie is a college student living at home with her parents and two sisters, Jane and Lydia. When a rich, young medical student, Bing Lee, moves into town, Jane is instantly smitten while Lizzie is at odds with his less-than-cordial friend, William Darcy. I love this adaption SO much! It captures each of the characters SO perfectly! Lizzie is witty and a bit prejudiced, Jane is sweet and caring, Lydia is loud and obnoxious. The buildup to Darcy is hilarious and exciting all at the same time. What makes this particularly enjoyable is the use of "costume theater": how Lizzie reenacts stuff in her life using costumes. She'll dress up as someone and have a friend/sister dress up as another person and then reenacts something that happened earlier, using silly voices and such. It makes it all the more funny and entertaining. A very well written and filmed adaption if you ask me. I highly recommend it!
You can find all the episodes on YouTube (I recommend watching this playlist since there is more than one channel)
Merlin:
One of my early loves. The BBC is what got me hooked on TV shows. It's the backstory of the wizard we all know about and his relationship with the future King Arthur as well as other Arthurian characters: Merlin is a young, magically-talented young man who arrives in Camelot where magic is outlawed. He stays under the care of Gaius, the court physician and learns to master his powers in secret. Meanwhile, he saves Prince Arthur's life and is made his personal servant. Merlin is always at the prince's side, discovering plots against the throne, saving his life, and of course shining his armor. Looking back on this show now, I see that it had so much potential and opportunities that it did not take. But for what it did, I think that it is still an excellent show. It is a family show, so it's not too tough, dramatic, and gritty. Merlin and Arthur's interactions are the main selling point, I think. They act just like an older brother and younger brother. There's quite a lot of funny scenes as well as serious ones. But I do enjoy the unfolding of everyone's destinies, seeing all the different characters from the legends, and so on. If you want an enjoyable fantasy/adventure show with some Arthurian backstory, this is a good one to check out ;)
This is also available on Netflix
Nothing Much to Do:
Another vlogseries. An adaption of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Taking place in New Zealand, Beatrice has just moved in with her cousins and is starting Messina high school. For years, she has been butting heads with one, Benedick. After weeks of their arguing, their friends decide that they are going to trick them into liking each other. Meanwhile, Beatrice's cousin, Hero begins dating Ben's friend, Claudio who is a very jealous individual. I cannot even begin to describe to you how much I love this series. It is so well thought out and scripted! And it is so natural. The issue with amateur films and vlogseries is that either they seem too polished or they are obviously scripted. That's not the case here. The point is that it is just a bunch of teenagers making their own videos and it looks like it. Hardly any of it seems forced or scripted. Then, the characters are all so lovable and quirky. You really care for all of them. I definitely recommend this one. The one downside is that there is some heavy language included. If you're interested in watching it without so much colorful language, I downloaded it and cleaned it up as much as possible.
You can find it on YouTube (or message me)
The Office:
Don't lie and and say you haven't heard of this show. Well, just to clear the air, it's a mockumentary about a paper company, Dunder Mifflin, and the antics all the characters get up to at work and their personal lives. With hilarious characters including an immature boss, a shy receptionist, a likable smart-alek, a kiss-up sociopath, a singing salesman, a sexy intern, and others all mixed up with office pranks, love affairs, and of course, selling paper. The characters are what really sell the show. They are flippin' hilarious! I mean, the writing and a lot of the lines and scenarios are funny, but the way the characters say their lines or handle certain situations is what makes it that much funnier. I remember seeing a scene a couple years ago that was supposedly hilarious according to those who watched the show, but I only thought it was mildly funny (it barely got a smile out of me). But then I later watched the show from the beginning and when I got to that scene, I was busting a gut from laughing so hard. Why? Because I now understood the characters. I will say this, the humor in the show is definitely an acquired taste. A lot of it stems from making you uncomfortable, sometimes you will be in physical pain from how uncomfortable you are. The boss, Michael, has no boundaries. He just says stuff, thinking it's OK and... oh dear. But it's funny! But it's terrible! But you gotta love it because he means well. So yes, I would recommend this show because the characters are so well written, it is FABULOUSLY acted (Steve Carell won an Emmy for his portrayal of Michael Scott), the dialogue is so brilliant and quotable, I could go on.
You can find it on Netflix.
Pushing Daisies:
I feel this show is severely underrated. It's about a man who has a very special power where he can wake the dead by touching them. However, if after a minute he does not touch them again, something in close proximity will die in its place. Also, after he's touched something once and it dies again, it stays dead. So, this man, Ned, works in a pie shop and assists a money-loving PI by asking murder victims who did it. What a setup, right? The plot itself is a lot of fun, but its the characters, the atmosphere, the costumes, and the sets that totally bring this one together. It sets a sort of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Nightmare Before Christmas vibe. It's very upbeat and whimsical for being a mystery show. And the narrator only improves it with all his nicknames for the characters ad his sophisticated voice. The mysteries are intriguing as well. I get very wrapped up in what is going to happen. Two thumbs up! I wish it had a longer run. If you're looking for a light-hearted mystery show with amazing visuals, look this one up.
This one is more difficult to find. Unfortunately it is not on instant view. You may try Amazon or iTunes.
Psych:
One of the most hilarious shows I have ever seen in my entire life! Shawn Spencer has extraordinary hyper observant capabilities and a photographic memory. To get out of trouble with the police who do not believe he can just look at a person and read guilt as well as their entire life story, he claims he is a psychic. He manages to "prove" this claim and is eventually hired by the police to investigate a kidnapping. After successfully closing the case, he is officially put on the Chief's consultants list. Shawn and his best friend Gus open their own private detective agency with Shawn as the psychic detective. This show is so awesome! The characters are unbelievably fantastic, the two leads have amazing chemistry and are absolutely hilarious every time they're on screen. Shawn is a lovable, immature, yet secretly brilliant goofball. I love how much he can get away with, and his one-liners! XD The mysteries are super intriguing and fun to watch. There are some pretty intense moments. Heck yes for this show! Highly recommended! If you want humor, mystery, and interesting characters and plots all wrapped into one, I'd check this one out right away.
All the seasons are FINALLY on instant view!
Sherlock:
Literally one of the finest TV shows ever made. It is so polished, so flawless, so refined. It's no wonder there's a two year waiting period between each season -__- It's an updated, modern version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. Taking place in 21st century London, Dr. John Watson-- a retired war doctor-- seeks a flatmate and is directed towards Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock is a consulting detective for the police department. He is highly observant and a master of deduction, able to tell someone their life's story with one glance. John gets sucked into Sherlock's adventures as he tags along on his calls. As I said, this show is literally flawless. The writing, the acting, the cinematography, the music, the atmosphere, the costumes, the sets, the editing, everything! Everyone's heard of Benedict Cumberbatch now, right? He's suddenly making a name for himself. Or Martin Freeman, he played Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit? Yeah, they're Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. The drama, the comedy, the mystery! It's all so perfect! It's very intense a lot of the time, but there are many lighthearted moments. The writers really know how to balance it all out so that you're not too overwhelmed with one. Each episode is 90 minutes long, so it's basically like a movie. There's three episodes to a season, and there are three seasons out so far with a fourth on the way (and a Christmas special coming this December! :D) Looking for a literally flawless mystery show? Look this one up.
All available seasons are on Netflix instant view.
Smallville:
Ah, where would we be without this show. It pretty much started the idea of telling the backstory of a famous character/legend/story. Now we have all these shows like Merlin, Arrow, Gotham, and all that. Anyways, Smallville is the backstory of Superman. From the time he landed on earth until he becomes the hero everybody knows and loves. A lot of the seasons circulate around him in high school saving people who had been mutated by the "meteor rock" (Kryptonite). Later seasons have him in Metropolis, establishing himself as a faceless vigilante crime fighter. This show is a lot of fun. Though a bit soap opera-ish at times, it is still very engaging. It does a very good job at establishing characters and developing them over time. Nothing is too rushed or forced. It does an excellent job of tying things together and keeping all the Superman lore together. It even includes many other DC comic characters which was fun to educate myself on since all the hype these days is on Marvel characters. The first season's effects are definitely not top notch, but by the last season… I was so blown away! Awesomeness! I just enjoy watching Superman become… well, Superman. Fun show. Definitely worth a watch! Want a show with drama, action, superheroes, and mystery? I'd recommend this one.

Studio C:
There's not really a set plot to this. It's a sketch comedy show. Each episode contains several different skits starring the same ten cast members. It is clean, family-friendly comedy. All the cast members have great comedic timing, are good actors, and are of course completely hilarious! All the sketches are at least pretty funny, but there are some that are absolutely hysterical and extremely clever. They don't depend on stupid humor, fart jokes, sex, or any of that stuff common in today's humor. They stick to old-fashioned slapstick, wit, spoofs, and so on (not that there isn't some stupidity sometimes XP). I love this show and its cast! Absolutely recommended! If you want a good laugh, then go look them up.
You can watch the full episodes on the BYUtv website or you can just look up some of their sketches on YouTube.
Supernatural:
I had seen this show around for so long, so I randomly decided to watch the first episode just to understand what it was about… but then I was hooked. It's about two brothers, Sam and Dean, who travel around the country hunting down demons, ghosts, monsters, and such. Yeah, that's about it. I mean, of course there's different running plots for each season and whatnot, but that's the overall idea. This show is so amazing! I believe there are three main selling points: the horror, the comedy, and the brothers. The horror is done very well. Scary imagery, intense situations, things popping out at you, and so on. I was actually afraid to walk around my house at night when I first started watching. No joke. Then there's the comedy. Since there's "supernatural" situations, they can get into some pretty weird stuff like alternate universes or whatever. Also, Sam and Dean are totally hilarious sometimes, apart and together. Lots of other characters as well. That brings me to the brothers. Their love for one another, their chemistry, the way they banter. Amazingness! A must watch! If you want a show chocked full of suspense, engaging plots, interesting characters, and mind-boggling...ness, I'd say tho is the show for you.
All current seasons are on instant view.
If you're looking for kid shows, I have a couple for you...
Animaniacs:
I didn't watch this as a kid, but I think I would've enjoyed it. It's about three cartoon characters, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, who were created in the thirties, but proved to be too zany, so they were locked away in the water tower… until they escaped. The show has a couple different cartoons per episode. There's also several other characters who have their own cartoons. I LOVE this show! It is so funny and so clever! The spoofs, the songs, the jokes! Enjoyable for kids and adults. It even tries to educate you once in a while.
Batman: The Animated Series:
Alright, I only recently watched this one as well. The title says it all. It's the adventures of Batman, saving Gotham form different villains such as the Joker, the Penguin, Poison Ivy, and so on. I was extremely impressed with how well done this show was. For a 90's cartoon, the animation was top notch, the voice acting was stellar, and the stories were actually engaging. Unlike most other cartoons of the time that were only trying to sell something or make a cheap buck, this one really put some effort into what it was doing. And a shout out to Mark Hamill (what!? Who knew?) for his portrayal as the Joker. That has got to be one of the best Joker voices I have ever heard!
Not on Instant View. You could purchase all the seasons on iTunes or perhaps the DVDs somewhere. Perhaps Amazon or Ebay.
Drake and Josh:
Probably one of the funniest shows of my childhood. It's about two teenage stepbrothers with completely opposite personalities, and all the antics they get up to. As I said, the comedy is SPOT ON! Even people who don't watch the the show have heard some of the quotes before (e.g. "You calling me a liar?" "I ain't calling you a truther!"). The two leads have fantastic chemistry and are always fun to watch. Ever heard of Josh Peck? This was his start… And boy did he ever transform into one hunky dude since this show was shot! (As the phrase goes, he Neville Longbottomed us). As cliched as they get sometimes, all the situations are fun to watch and even though things can get a bit repetitive and predictable, it is still always enjoyable because the actors are so on point and the comedy is gold.
This show is almost impossible to find. You can find most of the episodes on YouTube, but not at the greatest quality and the sound pitch is off. Even iTunes doesn't have all the episodes! I might recommend searching out actual DVDs somewhere if you want the full collection.
Kim Possible:
This one I did grow up watching and I was totally in love with it! It's about a teenage girl who balances her regular school and social life with saving the world. Totally boss show! Strong characters, amazing animation, great voice work, engaging plots. A fresh idea where the female is the competent one in a fight and the male cannot do anything! The fight scenes are actually quite good, none of this hokey-pokey "ooh I punched you! Oh you hit me! Ooh! Ooh!" where the characters barely move like a lot of animated shows. This show put quite a bit of effort into the animation. And the comedy, spot on! The one thing that I love most about it is that it perfectly portrays what it is like to be a teenager without being too preachy or trying too hard to relate to the teens to the point of being disrespectful. It just shows it like it is.

Let's C What's So Funny
Ever heard of Studio C? If not you need to rectify this immediately and go look them up!
They're a comedy sketch group who write and perform fun, clean, family-friendly sketches that are still totally ha-LAR-ious! Imagine, comedy being clean and still funny as heck? Who'da thought?
The cast started out at BYU just performing for fun as "Divine Comedy" (you can look up some of their stuff on YouTube), mostly making fun of being in college, pointing out the annoyances of dating, spoofing church traditions, and so on. Typical young single Mormon stuff XP
However, after they got out of college, they signed on with the BYU channel and got their own show. They changed their name to "Studio C" after the name of the studio where they shoot all their sketches.
The cast includes:
Adam Berg
Whitney Call/Meek
Mallory Everton
Jason Gray
Stacey Harkey
Natalie Madsen
Stephen Meek
Matt Meese
James Perry
Jeremy Warner
They're all hilarious and amazingly talented in their own ways. I love them all! Sometimes they have other people come in and guest star, but mainly it is only those ten. They write and perform every single sketch on the show.
They've been running for about six years now, just barely starting up the sixth season. Each episode is about twenty minutes long, containing a compilation of different sketches. They also have a YouTube channel where they regularly release new sketches.
Go watch full episodes HERE
Here's 20 of my favorite sketches in no particular order. I can't pick a top 10. It's like picking a favorite child. (I'm not including any of the reoccurring sketches like Ann the Librarian, Shoulder Angel, Tongue Twisters, Captain Literally, or Awkward Avoidance Viking):
Crayon Song
I don't know why I laugh so hard at this one. Adam is perfect as the emo crayon.
Scott Sterling
This sketch became a YouTube phenomenon, going viral almost overnight. It still remains their top viewed video and for good reason. It is totally hilarious!
Matt Center
I know that technically this is a reoccurring sketch, but they are just SO funny, I couldn't not include them. (And I couldn't pick just one.) "Que BUENO!!!"
Love From Afar
So much randomness I cannot!
Supervillains
I think about this sketch a lot. I wonder who made all these connections. "Vader, you're in love with your enemy's dead mom!"
School Photo
This is one of those sketches where there's so much truth, it's funny.
Star Wars Leaked Footage
I love Disney so much, I caught all the references. The Space Mountain bit is my favorite.
Mr. Eckelstone Driver’s Ed
I think this could technically be counted as a reoccurring sketch, (really, it's just a reoccurring character), but I don't find the others even close to being as funny as this one. And it took me forever to figure out which actor was playing Ecklestone. "Pray to whatever deities you may worship. If there are any atheists among us, you may pray to science."
Fencing Slow-Mo
They put every single cliche you could think of into this and I love it!
A Bold New Soap Opera/Telenova
Really, the Spanish version is the one to make the countdown, but you sort of have to watch the original to fully understand why it's so funny.
You sometimes catch the actors coming close to breaking character in some of the sketches, but they normally don't actually laugh. This one, however, it all falls apart and it is hilarious! The entire point of the Spanish one was to actually try and make each other laugh.
P90X
What makes this video so great is how spot on Matt's portrayal of the instructor is. But of course, the background is what makes this sketch so funny. I feel Jeremy on a spiritual level.
Ugly Cop
This one also has a sequel, but again, not nearly as funny as this one. Jason in that get-up XD "MAYONNAISE!!!"
International Relations
"Oh hiiii, USA." Their portrayals of all the countries are spot on! (The semi-sequel is also perfect, with the democrat party and the republican party fighting for their "daughter" in divorce court.)
Halloween Prank
So many twists and turns! Haha! And Matt and Mallory's facial expressions the entire time are priceless!
Spidey Senseless
Isn't this exactly how we envision a spider? Isn't this just everyone's worst nightmare?
Mad Scientist Creates Junior High
I quote this one a lot, surprisingly. Especially the part about the math.
Lord of the Dance
I get a kick out of this one mostly because I grew up watching Irish dancing. Adam playing the violin in the background! XDD
Mall Kiosk War
This is another one where there's so much truth, it's hilarious! Mall kiosks are VICIOUS! Jason portrays him perfectly!
Clue Murder Mystery
The match and the pipe! Haha! And Matt's clapping every time! Lol!
Michael Bay Slow-Mo
James doesn't always get a lot of moments to shine, but this sketch totally cracks me up.
Two Guys On a Scooter
This isn't really officially part of he count since it's number 21, but I had to put it in at the end so that the song will be stuck in your head. You're welcome.

Top 10 KP Episodes
I've raved about Kim Possible in the past and I've recently rewatched the entire series. If you're at all curious to what my favorite episodes are, I've compiled a list (this is not including the movies):
10 1/2) Overdue
An extra bit because technically this is only half an episode. "Overdue/Roachie" is the entire two-part episode, but "Overdue" is the only part to make the cut.
The plot centers around Kim as she is approached by the angry librarian because she has an overdue library book and is confined to a sort of library detention until she turns it in. Ron realizes that he borrowed the book a while back and may have lost it when he took it on a mission. Since he can't remember which mission he took it on, he retraces his steps on every single mission they had been on in the past month.
I love Ron-centric episodes because of his ineptness. I mean, Kim is awesome and we all want to be like her, right? She can do anything! But it's fun to watch Ron try his hardest and still not even come close to Kim's level. I enjoy this episode because it's a whole bunch of mini plots all mixed into one as Ron goes from one evil lair to the next, searching for the lost book. I also like Wade's prominence in the episode, since normally, he only beeps in every once in a while rather than being a constant presence the entire time. Ron's interactions with the villains are fun too as his bumbling still somehow foils each of their brewing plots. I thoroughly enjoy this 1/2 episode right down to its predictable ending.
10) Gorilla Fist
The second in the Yamanuchi school saga and the second time we see Yori.
Yori contacts Ron, informing him that Monkey Fist has captured Sensei and she needs his help finding him, so the two head out. Kim is suspicious of Yori since she knows nothing of Ron's time in ninja school and tracks them as they follow Monkey Fist's trail all over the world.
The whole mystical monkey power storyline kind of weirded me out and intrigued me at the same time. I liked that Ron had a secret power and enjoyed watching him discover it… but it was such an odd power (though it did turn out to be totally boss in the end, but I'll get to that later). Anyways, I just sort of enjoyed the plot of this episode. I mean, all the other Monkey Fist/Yamanuchi episodes are sort of the same set up; something is missing or in danger, Ron is called upon to save/protect it, climatic battle, yadda yadda. I found this one to be the most interesting out of all of them because of how it played out. Sensei is a ghost? Kim is jealous? What is Monkey Fist hiding from?
It brought back the "it will be your honor to [walk, carry, etc]" joke, which only stayed really funny through this episode, then I felt it was overused.
We begin to see some of Kim's deeper feelings for Ron as she starts to go a bit green-eyed over Yori and Ron. We've never actually seen her get jealous in that way before.
And then the best bit (probably the main reason this is on my list) was the total twist ending! As a kid's show, most of the endings and scenarios are pretty predictable, but in this episode, I think this was the only time I was completely caught off guard. I did not see it coming at all!
9) Steal Wheels
Fun fact: both Drakken and Motor Ed are voiced by John DiMaggio.
The story focuses on Ron and Felix as they spend a lot of extra time together and Kim begins to feel left out. Meanwhile, Drakken's mother shows up informing him that his miscreant cousin, Eddie, needs a positive role model (since she is unaware that Drakken is a villain himself). Turns out "Eddie" is in fact Motor Ed. Drakken is in the middle of a new take-over-the-world scheme with his latest creation, the "Doom-vee". However, he is unable to make it run, so Motor Ed gives him some tips and soon the two are teamed up. As they work together and bond, Motor Ed tells him about Kim's friend with the cybertronic wheelchair. After hearing about the chair's amazing capabilities, they decide to steal it.
The villain(s) are always my favorite characters in anything. And when a show that has many different villains decides to put two or more of them together, it makes for some great entertainment. It's funny how Drakken and Motor Ed get along with one another; one a cocky, short-tempered scientist, the other a rock 'n rolling, mullet-wearing garage mechanic. I love how sometimes they get along and are on the same page, but then all of a sudden they're fighting like little children.
And on the topic of villains interacting with villains, Shego and Motor Ed are hilarious too! Motor Ed is always flirting with her, but she always rejects him… violently. Plus he is so sexist and Shego is constantly blasting him for it, but he is not bothered by it at all, merely declaring, "Wow! She's got the green magic! I think I'm in LOOOOVE!!!". His pickup line: "Woah, green babe! Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by again? Cuz I'll totally walk by again. Seriously." Haha!
8) Mother's Day
The first time we see Mrs. Lipsky.
As you may have gathered from the title, this episode takes place on Mother's Day. Kim and her mom decide that they are going to spend the day together no matter what. Meanwhile, Drakken is plotting his latest scheme when his own mother unexpectedly shows up. She is unaware that her son is a mad scientist and believes that he is a radio help doctor who goes by the pseudonym, Dr. Drakken. Drakken takes her along as he goes to steal a top secret formula being transported on a train. Kim gets wind of his plan and since Ron is preoccupied with his own mother's needs, Mrs. Possible goes along as the sidekick.
All the characters's interactions with their mothers is what makes this episode great, especially Drakken with Mrs. Lipsky. "Drewbie" haha! It's so hilarious how unaware she is of what her son is actually doing. Her character as the over-doting mother with the loud, obnoxious voice in the bright colorful clothing is perfect in contrast to Drakken's dark demeanor. It's funny how much Drakken tries to keep her comfortable and at ease too, like he genuinely cares for her.
Also, Kim and her mom are great to. We don't see a whole lot of the two of them through the show. You can really see a good mother-daughter relationship between them.
Then Ron cleaning out the garage is a fun bonus (with the garden gnome XD He sure had a traumatizing childhood). Poor Ron can never catch a break.
7) Dimension Twist
The plot begins with Drakken as he finally gets cable installed in his lair. At the same time, he is preparing a Pan Dimensional Vortex Inducer. However, when he forces the cable guy to get out quickly, the man accidentally plugs the Vortex Inducer into the TV. When Kim and Ron show up and Drakken turns on the Vortex Inducer, all are sucked into a portal. Each character lands in a separate TV show and has to deal with the constant channel switches, occasionally bumping into one another as Wade attempts to get them out.
I've seen this done before on other shows, but I can never get enough of it. Watching it now that I'm older, I recognize the Friends and Grey's Anatomy spoofs. I don't have a whole lot to say other than I really enjoyed seeing how they portray different TV styles. They have it all. The Kim Possible writers really know how to do humor. They knew exactly which characters to put in which shows to make it funniest: Shego in "Pals" (the Friends spoof), Ron in the "Running of the Monkeys" (a show filled with crazy monkeys), Drakken in an unnamed Teletubbies spoof, Kim in "The Real North Pole" getting voted out of the igloo by handing in a dead fish, Rufus in "Whiskers and Bitey" (Tom and Jerry spoof), and so on. It was all so hilarious! I can't pick a favorite!
6) Oh Boyz
The Oh Boyz were once the hottest band on the planet, but have recently lost their popularity and are nothing to nobody. Señor Senior Jr. dreams of becoming a teen pop sensation, so his father decides to kidnap the Oh Boyz to hold for ransom in exchange for a record deal. Unfortunately, the Oh Boyz's manager does not want them back since he is making more money with them gone than he was when they were around. Luckily for the Oh Boyz, Ron was accidentally kidnapped with them, so Kim Possible is on the case.
I really like the Seniors. They're my favorite villains behind Drakken and Shego. This is one of the times when Junior actually gets on board with his father's evil plan.
I can't exactly pinpoint what I like so much about it. I think it just because I really like the Seniors and this is one of their more entertaining schemes. Junior's excited screams always crack me up. I love their attempted ransom calls to Roland, the manager.
Using breakdancing to dodge lasers is so ridiculous and so enjoyable at the same time You go Boyz (and Ron)!
I love all the Oh Boyz's songs, "Hello Hello Hello", "Quit Playing Games With My Head", "I Want It My Way". Sound familiar to any boy band fans? (A couple of the Oh Boyz are actually voiced by some of the members of N'synch). It's funny watching this now having lived through all the One Direction hype and seeing that boy bands have not changed at all. For all we know, the Oh Boyz could be spoofing One Direction and not the Backstreet Boys or N'synch.
The best part is at the beginning when the tweebs are watching wrestling on TV and Ron suddenly bursts in all panicked, "They're coming!" "Alien attack?" "Worse!" "Mondo-morphing melt monsters?" "Worse! But that does sound pretty cool." "Ron, don't you know that GWA is on?" "Not for long, they're coming!" "What's coming!?" "CRAZED BOY BAND FANS!!!" "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"
5) Bad Boy
Another piece to the puzzle to why Drakken is blue. It has something to do with his evilness.
The story revolves around Dr. Drakken who decides to up his badness level by using a device called "the Attitudinator" which takes out your good and bad energies, balances them out, then puts them back in again. However, he is interrupted by Team Possible, and the Attitudinator is broken before the process is completed. What none of them realize is that all his goodness returned to him while all his badness transferred into Ron. As they go their separate ways, Shego is forced to put up with a sissy, too nice of Drakken while Kim realizes that Ron is bent on world conquest.
I love Will Friedle's performance as evil Ron, it's so over-dramatic and he has that slight (I'm not sure exactly which) accent. It's so great, I love it! Plus the fact that Johann Sebastian Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" plays in the background every time he speaks just makes it all the more ridiculously dramatic. And his laugh! "Boo-ya-ha-ha-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!"
He's so good at being evil, he actually manages to come up with legitimate, working inventions and a plausible plan to conquer the world. He even intimidates Shego into submission. Everything Drakken could never do. He might be the greatest, most efficient villain on the show. I love how he's the total polar opposite of his normal self.
Of course, good Drakken is a piece of work too. Him and his Coco Moo and peanut butter stickies XD. (I noticed that anytime a villain turns good, the first thing they do is get Coco Moo… and say it a lot. Lolz).
Also a shout-out to my favorite Kim/Ron tease: When they're discussing Ron taking a date to his cousin's wedding and then have an awkward moment where Ron almost suggests asking Kim, but they brush it off because they're friends and it would be "awk-weird". Then right after, they watch a cheesy soap opera and comment as follows: "Oh please! Are they still teasing that Charity and Danny are going to get together?" "Like that's ever going to happen. It would end the series." Haha! Fourth-wall jokes are my fav! (And the series did in fact almost end with So the Drama when they finally got together).
4) A Very Possible Christmas
As the title suggests, Kim is spending Christmas with her family, so Drakken decides that it is the perfect time to launch his latest take-over-the world scheme. After receiving a wonderful gift from Kim, Ron believes that the only way to repay her is to go out on the mission alone to stop Drakken. He does manage to foil Drakken's plot, but the two of them become stranded at the North Pole in the process.
With the two duos-- Kim and Ron, and Drakken and Shego-- it becomes apparent over time that the two are very similar just on opposite sides. That is to say, Kim and Shego have a lot in common as the athletic, stylish, and intelligent roles, while Drakken and Ron are more bumbling, immature, and comedic. With that said, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Drakken and Ron play off each other in this episode. Normally Drakken interacts only with Kim and brushes off Ron as "the sidekick" or "the buffoon". But with neither Kim or Shego to put some actual (for lack of a better word) intelligence into their situation, they're stuck arguing with one another in the most childish ways. Even on the ship before they crash into the North Pole, the way they attempt to thwart one another, it's so… them. Very unprofessional, they end up blowing up the ship and launching all the escape pods for crying out loud! Ha!
3) Graduation
The finale to the entire series. Technically a two-part episode, but I'm counting them as one, since you can't really watch one without the other.
It is Kim and Ron's graduation. Ron grows terrified of the impending, unknown future and feels he might hold Kim back. In the middle of the graduation ceremony, Kim is abducted by Warmonga, the alien. Drakken is also captured. The two of them are held prisoner on the ship while Ron and Shego team up to find a way to get into space and save their partners. At the same time, Kim and Drakken learn that Warmonga and her companion, Warhol, are going to conquer Earth, so they work together to try and escape.
An epic finale, containing everything you could hope for. I didn't think anything could be on the same level as So the Drama in terms of plot, action, excitement, and humor, but this was. Drakken mutating so that he blossoms as a flower is the most random idea, but it works… and that just sums up Kim Possible for you. Completely bizarre, but it works.
This show is one of the few shows out there that perfectly captures exactly what it is like to be a teenager. It doesn't try too hard to relate to the teens that are watching nor does it preach what they should do, it just shows it like it is. And this episode shows exactly how it feels to graduate and head out into the unknown. Props to that!
I really enjoyed seeing the villains and the heroes teaming up to save the world, it just proves my theory that they are all alike, only working on different sides.
The last thing: Ron's monkey powers in full. Wow! Seriously, the animation on that fight scene was just awesome! I was never totally invested in that storyline, I found it a little silly, but when that scene came up and Ron embraced his destiny as the Monkey Master to save Kim and turned into that totally boss warrior with the amazing magical light show and whatnot… I was blown away by the awesomeness!
2) Rappin' Drakken
One of the most popular Kim Possible episodes.
The plot begins with Drakken as he creates a brainwashing shampoo (that works perfectly) called "Lather Rinse and Obey". Unfortunately, he is unable to sell it because of his picture on the bottle and too much truth in the label. He decides that if the product is in a rap song, it will become hip and popular and everyone will want to buy it. When he is unable to get a rap artist to rap about it for him, he decides to do it himself on a popular TV show, "American Starmaker". Meanwhile, Ron has procrastinated an autobiographical creative writing paper. He decides he will write it about how he got Rufus.
This had got to be Drakken's most outrageous plot in the whole series, and by far the most entertaining. This is just a perfect summary of his character: he can invent anything, but he totally sucks at plotting and scheming.
I think this is so high up on my list because of the two raps included. I remember the "Naked Mole Rap" would always be playing on DisneyChannel during commercial breaks. I have it memorized. Of course I know "Drakken's Rap" too. "Fo' sheezy it's off the heezy".
1) Emotion Sickness
The story begins when Kim and Shego are both accidentally implanted with a device that controls their moods while fighting in a scientist's lab. Ron and Drakken are then forced to put up with the girls's random mood swings as the control in unintentionally messed with until it gets stuck on lovesick.
The confusion of poor Ron and Drakken as they put up with the dramatic mood swings of their friends/partners (some have dubbed this the "period" episode XD). It's so hilarious!
The lovesick part OMG! Especially with Drakken and Shego! I cannot even handle it! It's interesting to see that Drakken does actually genuinely care for Shego's feelings (at least on some level). Of course, part of his concern may be for himself, that he doesn't want to upset her and get blasted.
Then it's also interesting to watch this episode and then So the Drama and see how much Ron's perspective has changed on his and Kim's relationship XP He had always thought about dating, but at this point he just was not ready for it.
There's too many jokes and hilarious lines in this episode, I could not possibly list them all! But I'll start:
"Nobody dumps Kim Possible!" "Breaking up is so not easy!"
"Where is the second one?" "The second one?" "DRAKKEN!!!!"
"Come on, remember the good times? *gets tossed across the street* OK! Maybe they weren't all good!"
"Stoppable, how did you get in my house?"
"Gosh, I feel like I should say something sarcastic, but I just can't because you're so cute!" "Yes, well…"
"Did I forget your birthday? Is that what this is about? Because I'm scared."
"Come on, it's me, Ron." "Ch'ya! Ron heartbreaker!" "Ahh! No! Stoppable! It's pronounced Stoppable!"
"Shego! No! Stop! I'll make you dinner!"
"Hey guys-- *spits out drink* *falls out of chair* Um, bad time to call?"
"You're breaking up with me?" "Yes. No. Well… I mean, don't get upset." "Oh I knew it! I knew it! *runs away crying*" "Wait come back! Your dad's going to put me in a black hole!"
"I broke a nail!" "I break mine all the time, you don't see me crying… not on the outside."
"Ron! You got some 'splainin' to do!"
"Find your own hiding place." "Oh right, like you call dibs." "Well, I am now. Dibs!" "Well, I'm calling double dibs." "Urgh! You've won this round with your superior dib-calling."
"You were um… overreacting?" "Overreacting? OVERREACTING!?!!!? ME!?!!!"
"I'm thinking maybe it's time for some evil!" "Evil, you say? Like 'take over the world' evil or 'Drakken goes ouch' evil?"

Call Me Beep Me
A while back, I randomly decided that I wanted to do a tribute post to my favorite childhood cartoon, Kim Possible. At the time, I hadn't watched the show in years and only had faint recollections of certain things. Now, I have rewatched the entire series and am prepared to give a full analysis of it. Aren't you excited?
For the ignorants out there, the plot follows a teenage girl as she deals with problems in her life such as who to date, fashion trends, school assignments, balancing her busy schedule, and maintaining her image. Oh yes, and she fights bad guys and saves the world in the meantime.
The thing that make her situation unique is that she doesn't have a double identity. She's just "world famous teen hero, Kim Possible" who lives a regular life at home and at school. And her parents and peers are totally chill with it. She doesn't have any crazy paparazzi or obsessive fans (well, a couple), and her schoolmates and teachers don't treat her any differently than the other kids.
The show broke a lot of boundaries and stereotypes, I think. I mean, it was cliched and stereotyped in a lot of ways, but at the same time, it put a new spin on the things we've seen a million times, making it fun and exciting. There's mad scientists, eccentric billionaires, spoiled cheerleaders, fashion debutantes, death rays, mutants, crazy gadgets, and so on and so on. Even though these things are so cliched, they are presented in a new way in this show, making them memorable and fun.
While the plot(s) are very fun and entertaining, the characters are what really make the show float.
KIM POSSIBLE
Obviously the main character. She's a popular, pretty, athletic, outgoing, cheerleader and honor student who saves the world on a regular basis. She uses her cheerleading moves in her world saving and has dabbled in many different kung-fu and martial arts styles. "She can do anything" according to her website, which yeah, she pretty much can. She fearlessly jumps out of planes, goes up against mutant octopi, dodges laser cannons, scales waterfalls, and more. She tends to trip over her feet a little more when it comes to boys and dating. She is very image-conscious and is easily embarrassed. She did not realize that she never had a steady boyfriend until it was pointed out to her right before her Junior prom, which she began to fret over, feeling she was weirding guys out with her world saving.
RON STOPPABLE
Kim's side-kick and best friend since preschool (and eventually boyfriend). He's a bit of an underdog and yet is still friends with the pretty and popular Kim. He has a much more kick-back personality and is generally unconcerned with what people think of him. Although quite a bit more bumbling and clumsy than Kim, he still does manage to commit a lot of the same stunts that Kim does. He has a deep-rooted fear of monkeys, stemming from his childhood after a bad summer camp experience (he has many phobias stemming from this experience). Ironically, he is later implanted with "Tai Shing Pek Kwar" or "Monkey Kung Fu" and eventually becomes a Monkey Master (it's actually a lot more boss than it sounds). He is famous for always losing his pants, in fact it happens so often, he eventually is not bothered by it.
RUFUS
Ron's pet naked mole rat. Ron bought him the day of his and Kim's first mission. Ron's dad is allergic to every kind of fur, so he searched the internet for an animal without fur and found the naked mole rat. He later picked one up at Smarty-Mart in their town. Rufus spends the large majority of his time in Ron's pants pocket. He shares most of his master's personality traits and quirks, but will sometimes side with Kim if Ron's obsessive nature gets out of hand or if he is feeling neglected. He sometimes helps on the missions usually by chewing through ropes and wires, or climbing into small spaces. More often than not, the villain does not realize that he is there and/or underestimates his abilities so does not bother to apprehend him when they capture Team Possible.
WADE
Kim's tech guy. He's a ten-year-old super genius who never leaves his room. He always communicates with Kim through her Kim-munnicator (they were Facetiming before it was cool ;P). He's responsible for getting her rides all over the world, analyzes samples that Kim sends him, and hooks her up with all sorts of gadgets and gismos of his own invention. He can hack into practically anything. As Ron put it, "Wade has the world wired". He basically controls the entire operation/world from his bedroom. He's not only a pawn in Kim and Ron's world saving business though, he's actually their friend and actively cares for their well being. He often grants them favors outside of the world saving.
DR. DRAKKEN
Kim's arch-foe. Once known as Drew Lipsky, a college drop-out because he was laughed at for his ideas in robotics. He actually was friends with Kim's dad. After he dropped out of college, he became a mad scientist, bent on taking over the world (and turned blue somewhere in there. It is never fully explained how it happened, only that it was on a Tuesday). He is actually very intelligent, capable of inventing practically anything. However, he is not very good at plotting and scheming. His "take over the world" schemes are always his downfall. They're always far too complex and/or ridiculous and end up failing because of it. Or sometimes he will invent something, but there is one slight, but important error (ex. his mind control machine does not communicate with teen's earphones, but rather with senior's hearing aids, so he accidentally creates an army of mindless seniors).
SHEGO
Drakken's sarcastic, kick-butt side-kick. She has a power where he hands glow with some sort of green plasma-like force that can rip through pretty much anything. Hero-turned-villain, she is the most evil foe of Kim's in the show. She does most of the physical work for Drakken (breaking into stuff, engaging Kim in battle, and so on), and then sits back making sarcastic comments while Drakken attempts to take over the world. She is obviously more intelligent than Drakken, at least when it comes to common sense and street-smarts, but chooses to take the back seat most of the time and let him call the shots. On some level, in a twisted way, I think she does have a certain fondness for her boss because even though she knows he's completely incompetent and no matter how many times they're separated (whether through jail or she is recruited by another employer), she always returns to him.
MONKEY FIST
Ron's arch-foe (and Monkey Fist hates the fact). Once known as Lord Monty Fiske, he became obsessed with the mysterious "Tai Shing Pek Kwar" even to the point of genetically altering his feet and hands into monkey feet. He is one of two people who were exposed to the mystical Monkey Power (Ron being the other), thus the two became arch-foes as they constantly fought towards the same goals, but on different sides. He is the only villain in the show to consistently remember Ron's name (rather than "the sidekick" or "buffoon" or "that guy") which earned him Ron's respect. Monkey Fist always had a team of monkey ninjas by his side. Anything involving ninjas, mysterious curses/legends, monkeys, or something along those lines, Monkey Fist is usually involved.
SENOR SENIOR SR. and SENOR SENIOR JR.
An eccentric billionaire and his son. They actually originally had no intent to become villains whatsoever until it was unintentionally suggested to them by Ron. Señor Senior Sr. is the one who is truly passionate about being evil while Junior is more interested in becoming a teen pop sensation. Señor Senior Sr. has very traditional views on how to be a villain. He believes that an evil laugh is the most important part of being evil and is always following "tradition". He is the most cliched bad guy you will ever find, but he is cliched on purpose (as he is constantly explaining to his son). Junior would most likely be a far greater villain than his father if he had any interest, since he is always asking questions such as, "why did you shoot the laser at the ice above them? Why not just shoot them?". An excellent point. However, Junior never puts any effort into being evil unless forced or on the rare occasions when he finds actual interest in it.
DUFF KILLIGAN
The world's deadliest golfer. Yes, you read that right. He is self-dubbed as that. His weapons of choice are exploding golf balls which he hits at his enemies or whatever he wants to destroy. He doesn't really have a backstory or anything, he just sort of showed up and then suddenly became one of the show's most popular and reoccurring villains. His original goal was to turn the entire planet into one giant golf course, but he eventually expanded his view and simply decided on world conquest. He speaks with a thick Scottish accent and lives on his own private island called 'Killigan's Island' (ha!).
BONNIE
Kim's arch-rival at school. She is Kim's fellow cheerleader and the second most popular girl in school. She is your typical shallow, self-absorbed cheerleader. She's jealous of Kim's popularity and is constantly trying to one-up her. She is always pointing out Kim's flaws and preying on her insecurities. She's opposite Kim in a lot of ways, but similar in many aspects as well which is why she is able to hit the mark every once in a while. She's in an on-again/off-again relationship with the quarterback, Brick Flagg which she constantly brags about. She enjoys taunting Ron as well as Kim, but he does not mind as much as Kim]. Kim does realize eventually that part of Bonnie's cruel nature may have something to do with her older sisters doing the same thing to her.
MR. BARKIN
A substitute teacher, I think is the best way to sum him up. Although he is many other things. Seriously, he is literally everywhere. He is constantly taking over every single class, extracurricular activity, and anything else at the school because of an illness, injury, vacation, or unexpected accident of a teacher/leader. He practically runs the school on his own. He's not just at the school though. He also works at Smarty-Mart, is a Pixie den mother, and shows up pretty much anywhere that Ron is. He and Ron have a sort of mutual like/dislike for each other. He has a very tough, but fair attitude and is prone to yelling and being overly dramatic.
TWEEBS (JIM and TIM POSSIBLE)
Kim's younger brothers. They're nicknamed "tweebs" by Kim (twin dweebs). They're especially brilliant for their age, always building rockets, creating satellites, or experimenting with radioactive elements in their room. However, they only use their items for mischief and more often than not, their experiments wreck havoc through the house. They've blown up a room or two, even the whole house. Their all time favorite pastime is driving Kim crazy. They often steal her stuff to use for parts or create something extremely complex with the sole purpose of spying on her. Kim is usually annoyed by them, but they all have a soft spot for one another.
JAMES and ANN POSSIBLE
Kim's parents. James is a rocket scientist and Ann is a neurosurgeon. They are both loving and supportive of all their children. They're both surprisingly aloof to all their children's antics. Aloof, but still aware. For example, Kim might say that she is going to go to South America to save the world and they're just like, "Okay, honey. Make sure you're home by midnight. Pack extra food. Say hello to Ron for us!" like she's just going to the movies or something. Or Jim and Tim have just nearly blown one of their heads off with a rocket flying through the house and they just say, "What have I told you? No rockets in the house" and then that's the end of it. They don't tell them to stop making rockets, only to not launch them in the house. The Possible parents are just so cool! "Anything is possible for a Possible!"
MONIQUE
Kim's other friend besides Ron. They met in high school after Monique moved in and she and Kim instantly clicked. Although Ron was jealous at first, he and Monique got along fine when they found they had a lot in common too with pro wrestling, stuffing their faces, and more. Monique's one true love is shopping and fashion. No one knows clothes better than her. Sometimes, she will be Kim's "backup" sidekick if Ron is unavailable.
Some other characters include:
Motor Ed: a motor obsessed villain and Drakken's cousin
Team Go: Shego's brothers, Hego, Mego, and the Wegos. A superhero team
DNAmy: a geneticist obsessed with cuddle buddies
Frugal Lucre: super cheap villain and Drakken's biggest fan
Martin Smarty: CEO of Smarty-Mart
Felix Renton: friend of Ron's with a cybertronic wheelchair
Camille Leon: shape-shifting fashion debutante
Sensei: master of the secret ninja school, Yamanuchi, that Ron attends
Yori: Ron's fellow student at Yamanuchi who has a crush on him
Josh Mankey: Kim's longtime crush
Ned: assistant manager at Bueno Nacho
Brick Flagg: dim-witted quarterback and Bonnie's on-again/off-again boyfriend
Mrs. Lipsky: Drakken's very attentive mother who thinks he is a radio help doctor
Professor Dementor: German-accented mad scientist. Drakken's biggest competitor who is always one step ahead of him
As I said, this show broke so many boundaries and became very iconic in many ways. Everyone knew Kim's four beep ringtone. Who didn't know all the catchphrases back in the day?
"What's the sitch?"
"No big."
"So not the drama."
"Call me, beep me if you wanna reach me."
"That is sick and wrong!"
"You think you're all that, but you're not!"
"Anything is possible for a Possible!"
"Boo-ya!"
I love the way it spoofs popular culture. Some examples: Smarty-Mart= Wal-mart, Bueno Nacho= McDonald's or Taco Bell, Oh Boyz= Backstreet Boys or 'N Synch, Britina= Brittany Spears, cuddle buddies= beanie babies, Fearless Ferret= Batman, American Starmaker= American Idol, and more.

Why is Kim Possible the best show? You can find out why HERE
To sum up, I love this show. It is definitely one of the highlights from my childhood. It stood its ground even with its weaker and stupider moments. Some moments/realizations from KP:
Some videos:
The theme song, "Call Me Beep Me". Easily one of the catchiest theme
songs ever written.
"Naked Mole Rap". A very famous song from the show. Ron
turned his creative writing paper into a rap to combat
"Drakken's Rap" (see below) on American Starmaker.
"Drakken's Rap". He created a brainwashing shampoo, but was unable
to sell it, so he decided that if he rapped about it, it would become hip and
people would want to buy it.
Senor Senior Jr.'s biggest dream is to become a teen pop sensation.
So when he's imprisoned, his fellow inmates have to put up with
his performances… the worst torture imaginable.
Dr. Drakken and Shego are one of the funniest duos on
the show. Drakken's cockiness and idiocy mixed with Shego's
wit and dry humor made for a lot funny scenes like these.
One of my favorite episodes, "Emotion Sickness". Kim and Shego are
accidentally implanted with devices that control their moods, so Ron and
Dr. Drakken have to put up with their dramatic mood swings and are
especially confused when it gets stuck on lovesick.
